the renovation of this historic theater reimagined the splendor of the original structure while providing updates that better suited contemporary audiences. designed as a vaudeville house, golden gate theater is a culturally significant building in the loft district (on the national register of historic places). renovation of the theater included custom designed chandeliers, updates to the house and lobby, and an entirely new lighting control system. this resulted in enhanced comfort, access, and safety, providing a more welcoming and enjoyable theater experience for the audience.
